Mr. Johnson, I think I have an idea of what we can do. Felicia said as we both walked down to the car.
Felicia Please. I am not in for all of these jokes this afternoon. I informed her frankly
Bros J… I know how you feel. Felicia psyched
Then I stopped abruptly in my footpath
I think we need to do something real as Dr. Ben said the other time. Felicia continued
So how do we go about that? I asked
I have an idea. She said, as we walked further towards our car
We’ve been on a trip wheels driving towards the south western part of Akure. Felicia suggested we visit the tourist centers so as to bank our writing on it. The trip from Lagos to Idanre was about 6 hours and it was a rough one.
Are you really sure about this place Felicia? I asked immediately as we pulled over our car in the parking lot.
Trust me Boss. I have heard a lot about this place and I believe we can figure out what to write about. Felicia said picking up her bags.
Idanre is quite a beautiful town judging by the roadside sightseeing and landmarks as skimmed on our way there. Something instincts tells me the locality might be a re-known supplier of cocoa because mostly all of the homes we drove by had sun drying beds of cocoa beans whose fermented odor saturated the air waiting to give a welcoming reminisce of Idanre as characterized by its unrivalled cocoa producing potential.
Welcome to the Idanre hill resort. A young man walked towards us beaming smiles.
Good afternoon Felicia and I chorused at once
Will you like to climb the hills? The man asked
(See foolish question o, I soliloquized in my mind)
Yes we are here to see what the Idanre mountain hills is about. My name is Johnson Emmanuel and my personal assistant, Felicia Jimson. I said stretching my hands for a hand exchange which he gave profusely.
Welcome Mr. Johnson. The uphill excursion will take a couple of hours. Please, consider me as your guide. I am Adewale Ogunsiji. I advise you eat something because it’s going to be a long journey up there. He said pointing up the hills.
